Andrew Kellitt for the second time going to Zlín as the FIA Observer

The nominations of the key FIA officials and delegates for the 45th Barum Czech Rally Zlín have been revealed. The organizing team headed by Miloslav Regner, the Clerk of the Course, annually organises a successful rally, which has been many times proven by ranking among the top-rated rallies in Europe. In previous years, it received excellent observer's evaluation and FIA officials' reports were also very positive.

For the second time in the history of Zlín rally there will appear the FIA Sporting Delegate, Mr. Arnaud Crépin from France, who as the chairman of the Sporting committee has a significant role in the FIA. "We are delighted that he again comes to Zlín and visits the Barum rally. It will raise the event's prestige," said Mrs. Marta Regnerová, the Chief Secretary of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín.

The FIA Observer will be just like in 2014 Mr. Andrew Kellitt from Great Britain. "Mr. Kellitt visited Zlín for the first time in previous year. This time he will come already in Thursday morning and he looks forward to his another visit in the Czech Republic," added Regnerová.

Experienced official, Mr. Uwe Schmidt from Germany, will be the Chief Steward of the Meeting. "We met Mr. Schmidt last time in June during the Ypres Rally in Belgium. He was present in Zlín as the Steward already in 2003. He back then came also with his son Benjamin who intends to go to the Barum rally also this year. He plans to cooperate with Mr. Jan Regner, the Deputy CoC, in terms of rally safety. Benjamin wants to gather experience here so he can apply it later during rallies in Germany," said Regnerová.

Mrs. Naya Kontopoulou from Cyprus will be another member of the Stewards' board. "She has been a Clerk of the Course at the Cyprus rally. This charming lady is one of twins and it will be her first time in the Czech Republic. She will land in the Vienna airport on Thursday morning and will return back to Larnaka during next Monday," said Mrs. Regnerová. The last of three Stewards of the Meeting will be a Czech ASN delegate Tomáš Kunc, the actual chairman if the Rally association ACCR.

Secretary of Stewards of the Meeting is Jan Mochan from the Czech Republic. Zlín's rally will be supervised by a FIA Technical Delegate for the fourteenth time; this year, the FIA Technical Delegate is again Karl-Heinz Goldstein from Germany, his assistant will be Italian Luca Gibello. For the first time there will be present an FIA Medical Delegate, Mr. Jean Duby from France. "Mr. Duby is highly respected person in the FIA, where he has worked as the chairman of the medical committee. He already visited Zlín several times during rally safety seminars and has been fascinated with Tomáš Baťa historic heritage," added Mrs. Regnerová.

ASN Safety Delegate is Miroslav Smolík, Chief Scrutineer is Stanislav Mrkvan and Chief Timekeeper is Ms. Eva Skýpalová. Competitors' Relations Officers are Wolfgang Gastorfer from Germany and Petr Starý from the Czech Republic.
