Flash info after the Super special stage

53rd edition of BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN 2024 has started as usual with very popular city specialstage in streets of Zlín which has been watched by many spectators. We have some flash info from the topof the field after the drive through city centre. In the beginning the rain was expected to drop for the topdrivers but it didn't happen and the stage was hot and dry.

Ciprian-Daniel Lupu (ROU, Renault Clio RS Line, starting no. 39):
"It's great. We just want to get some experience on these stages."

Ekaterina Stratieva (BGR, Opel Corsa Rally4, starting no. 38):
"I like it here in Zlín. I'm here for the fifteenth time and I'm not sure if I'll do twenty but we'll see."

Patrik Herczig (HUN, Peugeot 208 Rally4, starting no. 37):
"It was quite OK. I was too much careful and from the start I had a bit cold tyres but it's fine."

Márton Bertalan (HUN, Peugeot 208 Rally4, starting no. 36):
"It was dangerous on the start. We had a big moment is first corner. The rally starts tomorrow."

Daniel Polášek (CZE, Peugeot 208 Rally4, starting no. 35):
"It's always great I really love it here. Last year I was here as a spectator. I'm on a risky tyre strategy."

"It was good. Maybe fifth or sixth time and I enjoyed it. The car is ready and the rally starts tomorrow."
