GOLDEN APPLE: Autograph sessions or rally simulator, Barum rally at its full throttle!

Preparations for the 53rd season of BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN are entering their final stages. In addition to thrilling sports experiences, its visitors can traditionally look forward to a number of supporting events in the Bata's city, mostly taking place in the premises of the Golden Apple Shopping and Entertainment Centre in Zlín. There, they can already closely admire the racing cars on display, which are entering the special stages in one week, or try acting as a racer and compete for attractive prizes on the rally simulator. During the upcoming week, visitors can look forward to the popular crew autograph sessions and other attractive program.

The spirit of Barum rally was already spread across the Golden Apple on Monday, 5th August. Traditionally, a mobile fan shop is ready for visitors, offering tickets, a program and souvenirs with the motifs of the event. Two actual competing cars of this year's rally are also on display, namely Martin Vlček's Hyundai i20 N Rally2 and ambassador Daniel Polášek's Peugeot 208 Rally4. Visitors can experience what it is like to drive the Halenkovice stage at race pace on rally simulators provided by Space Laser Arena Zlín. They can also compete for very attractive prizes. The winner will get a ride in the racing car as a co-driver.

During the upcoming week, the Barum rally in the Golden Apple will come alive with a series of afternoon events. On Tuesday August 13 at 5:30 pm there will be a launch of the new Styllex Motorsport team's book, followed by a memorial session and an autograph session with a selection of the team's famous drivers. On Wednesday August 14 at 7:30 pm there will be the highlight of the program - the popular autograph session for the leading crews participating this year's Barum rally. The greatest stars of the Czech and European rally scene will be signing autographs or posing for photos, namely, the eleven-time winner of the Zlín rally Jan Kopecký, the current leader of this year's Czech championship Dominik Stříteský, or the local favorite Erik Cais. From the European side, the fans can meet the defending champion Hayden Paddon from New Zealand, talented Frenchman Matthieu Franchesci and many other.

A day later, on Thursday 15th August at 7 pm, another autograph session will take place, this time featuring the stars of the Star Rally Historic. Fans can again meet many well-known personalities, including Slovak showman Jozef Béreš Jr. and the popular local crew of father and son Urbans. During the whole week, visitors of the Golden Apple can also see an exposition of photographs from the history of the Zlín rally.

After the finish of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín, the winners will be announced on Sunday, 18th August, as usual, at the Náměstí Míru square, the most successful crews will then be presented in the Golden Apple at the final press conference, starting at 6:30 pm.
