Insight into statistics according to the list of registered crews

The official list of crews registered for the 53rd BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN 2024 was released recently. The organizers from the Auto Club Barum Zlín in ACR have registered a total of 106 crews from 19 countries, 37 of them are foreign. Not only European representatives will appear in Zlín, but also the crew of Hayden Paddon, John Kennard from New Zealand will come to the Czech Republic as the reigning European champions.

A total of 64 crews are entering the European Rally Championship (ERC) starting field, of which 37 will be competing in the ERC priority. The highest number of priorities is in ERC1, with 24 drivers listed. Three drivers, including Czech driver René Dohnal, will appear in Zlín with FIA priority. The RC2 class with 35 cars is the most numerous in the European Championship, followed by the RC4 class with 33 cars.

Among the 12 brands, the winged arrow from Mladá Boleslav rules the show, as in previous years, with a total of 33 Škoda cars on the list of entries. The next most numerous brands are Peugeot, Ford and Opel. The list of registered crews (ERC + MCR) includes a total of 34 cars in the Rally2 (R5) category and Škoda clearly dominates with 26 cars. The Fabia RS Rally2 designation is the most represented with 18 cars. Three female representatives behind the wheel and a total of 17 mixed crews also add variety to the entry list.
