This week the engines of the 51st Barum Czech Rally Zlín will be roaring in the regional city of Zlín. Visitors of the Shopping and Entertainment Centre Golden Apple in Zlín were the first to meet the rally programme. Since Sunday 14 August, they can admire the exhibited rally specials, have fun in the photo corner or take part in a competition to win attractive rally prizes. The fan shop is open every day, where rally fans can buy tickets and souvenirs, among other things. The highlight will be the autograph session of the leading crews on Wednesday 24 August in the evening and the final press conference with the top three crews on Sunday 28 August.

This year's Barum rally is coming up fast. All eager fans of this popular rally will be able to shorten their waiting with the programme organised by the Shopping and Entertainment Centre Golden Apple in Zlín from 14 August. In the first week, three rally specials were exhibited on its ground floor, namely the Ford Fiesta Rally2 of the competition driver Erik Cais, the Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo of Jiří Hanák and the Ford Fiesta RS Cosworth of Vlastimil Neumann. In the second week, the Fabia was replaced by a WRC car. "During the competition itself, from 26 to 28 August, we will also park a new weapon of Škoda, the Škoda Fabia RS Rally 2, in front of the Golden Apple," said Jiří Kratochvíl, Director of the Golden Apple shopping centre.

A competition with attractive prizes was prepared for visitors in the first week. The prizes included tickets with a programme, VIP seats, ride as a co-driver and other material prizes worth a total of CZK 25,000. There was also a photo booth where visitors could have fun posing on the podium. The fan shop is also open, offering tickets and a range of items from the official Barum Rally merchandise.

Two autograph sessions will be offered to meet fans and rally crews. On Wednesday 24th August from 7 p.m. Jan Kopecký, the nine-time winner of the Zlín Rally, Efrén Llarena, the leader of this year's European Championship, followed by Erik Cais, Václav Pech, Filip Mareš, Javier Pardo, Alberto Battistolli, Simone Campedelli, Ken Torn, Tom Kristensson, Adam Březík, Simon Wagner, Dominik Stříteský, Norbert Herczig, Martin Vlček, Antonín Tlusťák, Jaromír Tarabus and others have promised to take part. Three female representatives in the starting field are also invited: Adrienn Vogel, Ekaterina Stratieva and Cristiana Oprea. A day later, on Thursday 25 August at 6 p.m., the autograph session of the leading Star Rally Historic crews will take place. Fans will be able to meet the most successful crews of the fifty-first edition of the Barum rally at a press conference with the winners at the end of the rally. Buckle up, it's going to be a ride!
