Statistics according to the list of registered crews

The official list of crews registered for the 51st edition of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2022 has been published in the past few days. The organizers from the Auto Club Barum Zlín within the AutoClub of the Czech Republic have received a total of 115 crews from 21 countries, of which exactly 50 are foreign. Not only representatives from Europe will appear in Zlín, but also crews from Argentina or Taiwan will come to the Czech Republic.

There are a total of 74 crews entered in the European Rally Championship (ERC) starting field, with 44 ERC priority crews. The highest number of priorities is in ERC4 + ERC4 Junior, consisting of 21 drivers. With FIA priority, only one driver will appear in Zlín, surprisingly in the 2WD category, Andrea Mabellini from Italy, who has priority for winning the FIA RGT Cup in 2020. The RC4 class is the largest one in the European Championship with 31 cars, followed by the RC2 class with 27 cars.

Among the 17 brands, the winged arrow from Mladá Boleslav dominates, as in previous years, with a total of 32 Škoda cars on the entry list. The following brands are the next most numerous: Peugeot, Ford and Renault. Among the entries, there are 25 cars in the Rally2 (R5) category where the Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo clearly dominates. The start list is enriched by three representatives of a female gender behind the wheel and a total of 20 mixed crews, where a woman is a co-driver.
