Comments of drivers during the morning regrouping in Otrokovice

The demanding Saturday's leg began with two special stages Březová and Hošťálková. During the regrouping at the service park in Otrokovice, we interviewed the drivers from the front of the starting field and the leading Czech crews.

Andreas Mikkelsen (NOR, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 2):
"I am competing with Jan Kopecký for the victory, it's very close. It is a tough fight but I have one more day to beat him."

Erik Cais (CZE, Fort Fiesta R5 MkII, st. no. 8):
"I am satisfied. I think we keep a good speed and try to do the best. We squeeze the car as we can and it's good."

Jan Kopecký (CZE, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 6):
"Today's circuit around Slušovice was beautiful, although it was a bit slippery, but we chose the right tires, so it didn't surprise us. Conditions will vary depending on the weather, but no one has a crystal ball. If so, I would like to see it."

Miko Marczyk (POL, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 4):
"I liked it, the second SS was a bit easier, at least in my opinion. I started here for the first time, I had no experience with it before."

Filip Mareš (CZE, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 10):
"It's going smoothly so far, so we're satisfied."

Simon Wagner (AUT, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 18):
"It was very difficult, there was a lot of mess on the track that we had to deal with. It really took us a while. But we feel good about it and see how it turns out in the evening."

Yoann Bonato (FRA, Citroën C3 Rally2, st. no. 9):
"It was beautiful, but also very difficult."

Miroslav Jakeš (CZE, Škoda Fabia R5, st. no. 16)
"Nothing great. We had a puncture yesterday so we drove carefully today. Unfortunately it was very slippery at Semetín. We'd like to speed it up a bit, but I don't know where."

Norbert Herczig (HUN, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 5):
"The second special stage was OK, I'm happy with the time. I was very careful because we made a small mistake before. It's because we have been to the Barum rally twice and have never advanced to the finals. I want to fix it this year. "

Callum Devine (IRL, Ford Fiesta R5 MkII, st. no. 15):
"We did better at the morning stage, now we had minor problems, but it's still time to for improvement."

Adam Březík (CZE, Škoda Fabia R5, st. no. 19):
"The car definitely works well, we are satisfied with the choice. We'll see in the afternoon. We have only driven these two SS so far, the heavier ones are yet to come."

Petr Semerád (CZE, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 20):
"So far we have only one drive, the other was cancelled due to an accident right after the start."

Erfén Llarena (ESP, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 3):
"The results are good, but it's very difficult, it will take a lot of effort."

Martin Koči (SVK, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 17):
"So far we have only completed one SS. It was good for take off, just that drive at
Semetín was demanding."

Albert von Thurn und Taxis (GER, Škoda Fabia Evo, st. no. 25):
"We were only on the first SS, the second one was unfortunately cancelled, but the results so far are satisfying."

Ken Torn (EST, Ford Fiesta Rally 3, st. no. 31)
"Even though we took just one SS, I am still satisfied with the results."

Antonín Tlusťák (CZE, Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, st. no. 26):
"Well the first SS was successful, but the second one was cancelled so there's nothing to evaluate yet."

Petr Trnovec (CZE Hyundai i20 R5, st. no. 30):
"We've got problems with engine power. We have no idea where it's getting lost, but otherwise it was fine."

Igor Widlak (POL, Ford Fiesta Rally3, st. no. 33):
"The first SS was good, but we did not run the second one. There was a small accident."

Tibor Érdi (HUN, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X, st. no. 39):
"It's a pity about the accident on the second stage, so we'll see what happens next."

Jean – Baptiste Franceschi (FRA, Peugeot 208 Rally4, st. no. 46):
"It's crazy and very fast, especially the last stage."

Sami Pajari (FIN, Ford Fiesta Rally4, st. no. 45)
"All the stages I have completed so far have been very demanding for me. And the last one was the hardest."

"How was it? Beautiful!"

Jan Dohnal (CZE, Renault Clio S1600, st. no. 88):
"Today it started with Slušovice and I think that our strategy is good, unfortunately there was an accident of Stříteský in Semetín. We're trying to keep up the speed to keep going."

Pavel Ševčík (CZE, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, st. no. 90):
"I don't know what to evaluate. The first drive did not work out, the second was cancelled. Nice."

Václav Stejskal junior (Renault Clio R3T, st. no. 91):
"It goes well for now. We were looking forward to Semetín, which was cancelled, but Slušovice was fine. "
