Alexey Lukyanuk won Qualifying Stage

On Friday morning, engines began roaring through Zlín, letting fans know that their crews are ready for Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2017. On section Žlutava (length 4.55 km) took place Qualifying Stage upon its results the ERC crews can pick their starting number for Saturday's Leg 1.

Russian Alexey Lukyanuk was the fastest just like last year on Ford Fiesta R5. Close behind him by 0.512 seconds was Jan Kopecký driving factory car Škoda Fabia R5. And Václav Pech took the third place on Ford Fiesta R5. Fourth one was the current leader of ERC Kajetan Kajetanowicz. Behind him fast the Czech driver Tomáš Kostka with his Škoda Fabia R5.

Only the 15 fastest drivers have the opportunity to pick their starting number. They will do so before the Ceremonial start in front of Zlín's city hall.
