Public transport arrangements during the city special stage

The Integrated public transport system Zlín – Otrokovice (DSZO) made several arrangements to meet the spectators' and citizens' needs during the Super Special Stage of Barum Czech Rally Zlín in the middle of Zlín. On Friday 25th August 2017 from 3:30 a.m. to 0:30 a.m. Gahurova Street will be closed in all directions for all means of transport, namely from bus stop U Zámku to crossroad K Pasekám, then from Nábřeží Street to Prštné, pass the bridge over river Dřevnice and hypermarket Albert onto Tomáš Baťa Avenue.

Arrangements of lines during closure:
Line no. 6 during closure, it won't be possible to continue to Jižní Svahy, Kocanda; line goes from bus stop náměstí Práce to Školní, where it ends. From bus stop náměstí Míru line no. 6 would go to Otrokovice on its usual way. Shuttle service will operate in section Jižní Svahy – náměstí Míru and back (see below)
Lines no. 8 and 9 will be run through road diversion Prštné and marked 8X and 9X.
Line no. 14 will be replaced by shuttle service and marked 14X
Lines no. 32 and 33 will follow above mentioned road diversion through Prštné and will be marked 32X, 33X and they will be delayed
Line no. 38 will take a different route (Lešetín I – náměstí Míru – náměstí Práce – Antonínova) and finish on bus stop Antonínova and will be marked 38X.

Shuttle service to Jižní Svahy and back (7X, 14X)
Shuttle service will be managed by lines no. 7X and 14X in sections Školní, náměstí Míru, náměstí Práce, Poliklinika, Zahradnická, pass hypermarket Albert and by the riverbank to Jižní Svahy (alternatively going to terminal loops Kocanda-line no. 7X and Středová-line no. 14X) and back.

Validity of tickets during closure:
Throughout the closure, passengers can use a non-transfer 20 minute ticket as a transfer ticket but only to change buses marked X with other non-special lines (line no. 2, 6, etc.) and vice versa.

2:48 p.m. – Jižní Svahy, Kocanda
3:04 p.m. – only to bus stop Školní
From Jižní Svahy, Kocanda
3 p.m. – Otrokovice, railway station
3:16 p.m. – Otrokovice, railway station
