RUFA Šport at the Barum rally with Tomáš Kostka and a Ford Fiesta R5

Exactly one year ago it was the Slovakian team RUFA Šport introducing at the Barum Czech Rally Zlín a new Ford Fiesta R5. And now the team returns with the same car.

Like in 2013 the cockpit of the team's Ford Fiesta R5 will be occupied by a crew of Tomáš Kostka and Miroslav Houšť who already many times proved they could be very competitive among even the strongest opponents. The Slovakian team's squad has been at the Barum Rally regularly finishing in the elite top ten, in 2012 Kostka managed even to be on the podium. However in the following year the crew was forced to retire due to mechanical troubles with the new car. "I'm happy we are back in Zlín. This event every year offers very strong competition from all around the Europe. But despite of that we have showed we can fight for good results either against Czech drivers or the European top stars. After third place overall in 2012 we had a bit of bad luck last year when our crew had to stop after mechanical failure but I hope this year we will do well again and at the end of the Barum Rallycan we celebrate some nice results," said Lubomír Kleman, the RUFA Šport team manager prior to the rally start.

The Ford Fiesta R5 which will be used by Kostka and Houšť is prepared by a JM Racing company, which cooperates with the RUFA Šport team since its establishing.
