The ERC 2WD leader to miss the Zlín rally

25. 8. 2014 - Petr Linhart, Barum Czech Rally Zlín

The actual leader of the ERC 2WD standings Zoltán Bessenyey is forced to withdraw his Barum Czech Rally Zlín entry. The Hungarian driver was intending to drive a factory-prepared Honda Civic Type-R R3.

The reason is of a medical character. Bessenyey injured his ankle while playing badminton. "Doctors tried to do their best during last couple of days, but I still have two stretched belts in the ankle and I can't drive a rally car. I'm not even able to put the racing shoe on. I'm really disappointed, I was looking forward to the Barum Czech Rally Zlín really much," added Bessenyey.
